Production planning to ensure smooth flow of the production process in coordination with entire Production team spanning Production Maintenance and Quality control. Particular focus on special projects for production of specialised customer needs.< p>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordination with Purchasing for planning of purchase needs based on customer orders received from sales Department.
• Coordination with Maintenance Manager of Maintenance Programme to ensure minimum disruptions of production process
• Coordination with Maintenance Manager for purchase upgrading of equipment to meet future plans and needs
• Planning of production programme in coordination with Production managers to meet customer delivery dates.
• Coordination with Warehouse and Logistics to ensure smooth flow of products in and out of the facilities.
• Management of special projects to meet specialised customer needs – from pre sales coordination with Sales through to the delivery through Supply Chain.
• Managing all reporting for the Manufacturing Department related to planning.
• Managing all financial and progress reporting for Production related to planning.< p>
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
• Preparation of feasibility reports for new products lines
• Special projects – efficient utilization of ERP Tool< p>
• Communication skills• Analytical skills• Planning and Forecasting skills• Project Management skills• Understanding of Budgets and Costing• Understanding of Production Process• Ability to use MS Project to manage product schedule
