- Manage Pepsi Cola Egypt PCE food safety and technical capability agenda across PCE plants and Distribution Centers DCs in order to assure product compliance to PepsiCo International PI standards and regulations and to eliminate product contamination risk minimize variability and improve consumer trust in our products in line with PepsiCo values of selling only products that we can be proud of.< li>
- This job contributes to the success of PCE business by ensuring the overall quality and food safety of ingredients materials and finished products in accordance to PI standards so as to uphold trademark integrity.< li>< ul>
Accountabilities
< strong>< u>< p>- Manage PCE food safety and quality management systems agenda across plants and DCs in order to assure adherence to required food safety laws regulations corporate policies and practices< li>
- Manage the implementation of quality assurance systems and procedures throughout plant operations. This includes the use of control charting and systematic monitoring and documentation of critical control point variability.< li>
- Develop PCE Quality System in compliance with PI Quality Manual Guidelines and standards.< li>
- Accountable for implementation of all quality and food safety related procedures and records to ensure food safety programs are appropriately executed and documented< li>
- Work collaboratively across all necessary functions to ensure adherence to the established programs and practices. Develop criteria and make recommendations to key internal departments and functions such as Engineering Sourcing Product Availability and Operations< li>
- Manage international accreditations and food safety auditing program such as AIBI ISO 22000 17025 and FSSC across PCE. Ensure PI minimum mandates compliance< li>
- Lead Quality Auditing process and report compliance to the system and recommend corrective actions and improvement.< li>
- Accountable for manufacturing facilities as well as DC's auditing to identify gaps and develop corrective action with the plants and DCs management teams followed by timely implementation< li>
- Provide technical direction and guidance to solve quality and food safety related issues and work with the plant team to implement timely and effective corrective preventive measures to solve issues and eliminate reoccurrence.< li>
- Accountable for implementation of PCE master training plan for quality teams covering key food safety standards and quality management systems. Roll out food safety awareness to PCE organization and manage technical capability agenda< li>
- Accountable for 3 MM quality related accounts spending and forecast control. Lead food safety civil upgrade projects and Foreign matters protection program CAPEX of 1 MM < li>
- Monitor and control foreign objects management program across PCE plants.< li>
- Provide the field teams with the right tools to enable conformance to systems and capability building either through trainings or audits< li>
- Accountable for implementation of CAT3 4 strategies and requirements from quality and food safety prospective.< li>< ul>
Skills
< strong>< u>< p>- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience< li>
- Food Safety Experience is required< li>
- Quality Control amp Assurance Experience is required< li>
- Strong leadership and communication skills< li>
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills< li>
- Accuracy with documentation and follow up< li>
- Very good command on MS package< li>< ul>
