Business Development Manager< strong> < p>
Travelport are looking for an experience Business Development Manager to join our successful team in Cairo. < p>
< p>
As Business Development Manager your m< strong>ain Accountabilities will include < strong> < p>
- Execute action plan to deliver agreed segment plans and commercial objectives < li>
- Manages Hunter and Ensures that the goals of individual are aligned with the overall objectives of the team < li>
- Drives and motivates the individual to achieve segment FA and new revenue targets through regular review and appraisal of employee performance < li>
- Have a robust plan to deliver new wins and grow share < li>
- Understand the relative costs of distribution and initiate actions to reduce where appropriate. < li>
- To maintain excellent working relationships with customers at Director level. To fully Understand the customers market strategic direction business critical issues and key drivers and be able to link these by applying sound solution proposals to meet needs and benefit both the customer and Travelport businesses < li>
- To introduce and sell new Travelport solutions and services to new and existing customers to achieve the targets. They need to encourage and promote mutually beneficial business partnerships ensuring solutions supplied are fully supported and managed by both parties and meet company cost objectives. The Business development Manager will work seamlessly with SMO team and Technical Manager to drive customer requirements and ensure brick walling is complete. < li>
- Carry out regular visits to designated territory to build excellent relationships and customer visits < li>
- Build close relationships with new customers and use leverage to ensure Travelport objectives are met. < li>
- In conjunction with country manager and sales manager determine business objectives segment forecasts strategies and detailed marketing plans for assigned territories. < li>
- Formulate sponsor and champion business cases for retention of existing accounts winback or new business areas. < li>
- Monitor analyse and report sales market and account information in order to identify business opportunities and take corrective action where appropriate. < li>
- Build relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the agency distribution channel where possible e.g. airlines subscriber supplier . < li>
- Track competitor activity in the market and initiate necessary actions where appropriate. < li>< ul>
< p>Work with Travelport workstreams to prepare valuable feedback and implement detailed plans for nbsp < p>
- Migration of agencies to Galileo < li>
- Sponsorship of business cases for products to meet market requirements < li>
- Market communications < li>
- Account development < li>
- Ensuring a reliable and cost effective end to end service delivery
nbsp < li>< ul>Maintain country strategies which contribute towards the EMEA strategy in conjunction with the SMO Head and Sales amp marketing plans. nbsp
< p>- Develop relationships with key travel groups amp suppliers in the assigned markets < li>
- Ensure contractual targets and obligations are met by both parties < li>
- Communicate daily weekly impact figures and other commercial information as appropriate managing confidentiality sensitivities and legal requirements to customers and to country manager. < li> < ul> < ul>
< p>Environment< strong> < p>
- The job holder reports to the Country manager. The prime responsibility of this role is the commercial management of assigned segment channel in the assigned territories and winning new business. The jobholder has prime responsibility for managing the market share amp segment performance of the assigned territories. < li>
- It is an international role that cuts across different cultures business ethics technologies and market maturity and experience. The jobholder must be sensitive to these factors and work effectively within them. < li>
- The job holder is expected to work at all levels both within and outside the company. < li>< ul>

nbsp Knowledge Skill amp Experience < strong> nbsp < p>
- Educated to Degree level similar educational qualification or relevant work experience. < li> < ul> < ul>
- Excellent inter personal commercial negotiating presentation and written communication skills. < li>
- Experience in a GDS and or travel environment. < li>
- Ability to work at very senior levels both within and outside the organisation. < li>
- Be able to work in a matrix management environment where through leadership negotiation and motivational skills the incumbent is able to agree and achieve agreed targets and deadlines with staff who are outside their direct control. < li>
- To understand the market mix and influence the marketing mix within assigned territories. < li>
- Proven work experience preferably in a travel related industry. < li> < ul> < ul>
Fluent English and or Arabic plus excellent written and communication skills nbsp < p>
