General Description
Performs high level complexity design and project management on a large variety of projects acting as lead or support resource for prime and sub consultant work under the direction of client or Engineering management. Typical design work includes HVAC design and associated calculations plumbing systems design hydronic systems design and flow pressure calculations sizing and specifying of mechanical equipment such as boilers pumps and chillers plumbing systems design and selection fire protection system design.
Job Requirements
The Mechanical Engineer should have the ability to use REVIT for system layout and spatial coordination of production of detailed drawings.
Additional requirements include
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a consulting firm
•LEED accreditation a plus
•History of working with projects such as Healthcare Commercial and Mission Critical
•REVIT and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP experience
•Proficient in design and calculation software.
