Due to recent internal development we are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager for a 400 beds hospital in Cairo Egypt < p>

Role Description< strong> < p>
To ensure the seamless and effective provision of the service and take continuous responsibility for all aspects of operational management within the following areas < p>
< p>
- Catering
< li> - Housekeeping
< li> - Material management
< li> - Quality and Health
< li>< ul>
< strong> < p>Core Responsibilities< strong> < p>
- To manage effectively and efficiently the provision of high quality cost effective catering and housekeeping services function to all users of the hospital to the requirements and satisfaction of the Company
< li> - Act as Health and Safety officer and be responsible for the development of the health safety and environmental framework of the Catering and Housekeeping services
< li> - Plan and cost menus making sure that budgetary limits and prescribed menus diet menus are adhered to
< li> - Ensure that hygiene standards comply with Company and statutory requirements
< li>< ul>
< strong> < p>The Candidate< strong> < p>
< p>
- Minimum of Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management
< li> - Minimum 8 eight years’ experience managing projects of 24 7 operation in healthcare industry hospital environment with similar capacity.
< li> - Client focused with strong ability to identify analyze and develop continuous improvement opportunities
< li> - Proactive energetic punctual and have the ability to work under pressure and handle complexity
< li> - Strong leadership organizational negotiation communication and presentation skills.
< li> - Financial budgeting and inventory management skills
< li> - Well versed with all relevant statutory requirements Health amp Safety Infection Control and Food Hygiene Regulations and ISO standards
< li> - Familiar with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health COSHH standards and procedures and risk assessment
< li> - Knowledge of special healthcare sanitation process
< li> - Strong organizational and planning skills
< li>< ul>
