MARKETING MANAGER EARLY LIFE NUTRITION
< strong>< u>This position is part of the Blue and Yellow house team belonging to the ELN Topline team based in Cairo. For the Blue amp Yellow House our health mission is contributing to improve the wellbeing of as many babies as possible and their families by supporting gut health in the first 1000 days with our complete baby milk solutions.
The main brands that you will be supporting in this position are Aptamil and Bebelac which are mainly sold in the local as well as the global markets.
Purpose Of The Job
< u>< strong>Offer strategic marketing expertise and support to local management through contributing to all key strategic decisions of ELN Egypt thus enabling the achievement of the company’s growth ambitions of reaching 100ME in 2020.
Lead the marketing function to achieve business and brands goals while preparing a strong talent pipeline.
Key Result Areas

- Build and implement category amp brand strategy to deliver societal amp financial goals 40 of time < em>< strong>< li>< ul>
- Recommend a mid to long term strategic roadmap in order to ensure category growth < em>< li>
- Recommend and implement marketing strategies for Bebelac and Aptamil Brands
< em> - Branding positioning and Advertising
- Price amp format Product strategy including recipes and product form< li>
- Ensure in liaison with trade marketing and medical sales teams a flawless execution of the agreed market strategy < em>< li>
- Collaborate with key stakeholders the 2 years innovation plan< em>< li>
- Manage 2 FTEs 1 consumer Junior Brand Manager and 1 S amp I Manager 2 Medical Product Managers with dotted reporting lines< em>< li>
- lead the Insights strategy and plan on yearly basis< em>< li>
- Initiate new and innovative studies to measure key projects like Pharmacy Dip Stick < em>< li>
- Instill an insights based culture across management and medical sales< em>< li>
- Ensure monthly share analysis up to medical rep. level to ensure optimum performance management and opportunity threat management.< em>< li>
- Strengthen brand equity attributes to deliver sustainable brand growth and KPIs 40 < em>< strong>< li>< ul>
- Align with global and regional brand teams on positioning and advertisement development< em>< li>
- Develop local consumer and medical communication materials to deliver on brand messages and positioning< em>< li>
- Develop and execute a full yearly marketing activation plan medical and consumer on several touch points Medical ATL BTL and Connections with alignment with Supply chain and Finance< em>< li>
- Full A amp P management and analysis for efficiency and ensure on strategy investment

- Build and maintain an effective well trained marketing team to deliver long term growth agenda < em>< li>
- Ensure continuous team engagement and assess individual strengths and aspirations to match goals and tasks accordingly< em>< li>

< u>< strong>Candidate Profile
Aptitude Strong thinking and analytic skills project leadership in a cross functional environment A strong communicator a team player and passion for marketing is a must.
- 8 years marketing experience in an FMCG environment preferably blue chip Company < li>
- Successfully participated in different strategic and operational projects e.g. brand or product launch brand positioning pricing .< li>
- Strong analytical skills in particular integration of various different data sources amp being able generate consumer learning’s and insights.< li>
- Strong leadership skills ie ability to define plan and run projects independently as well own directly and indirect team< li>
- Experienced in managing different types of agencies such as creative media BTL agencies.< li>
- Excellent presentation skills – written verbal and presentation.
< li>< ul>Education
< u>< strong>- Bachelor in Economics or Business Marketing. Master’s degree is an asset.
< li>< ul>Mobility< u> candidate should be open to move within the region or outside the region with Danone in 3 4 years if such opportunity will arise which will contribute to his her career growth.
