Overview

< u>< strong>The IP System Engineering Consultant is a strong engineering professional with excellent technical skills. This role plans and implements presales to strategic major accounts. He is expected to establish and maintain strong relationships to be successful in this role. The IP System Engineering consultant Presales will have to have a deep understanding of NEC portfolio and Juniper Products in order to run business developmentand promote the best possible technical solution that matches the customer expectation or requirements.

The Candidate

< u>< strong>We are seeking min 5 6 years of engineering experience to join our rapidly growing team of Technical team in this existing
Mainly understanding of network deployment migration and swap out methodologies and practices within the TelCo and major service provider space
Understanding of Juniper`s support structures practices and tools is a Plus for the desired candidate.
Fluent in English is a must.
The bacground of education to a minimum of degree level preferable to a discipline related to Networking Electronics and or Computer science engineering would be highly granted.
Some travel in MENA region may also be required as well.Base location is in the NEC’s Egypt office located in Zamalek Area

Role Purpose Typical responsibilities

  • Develop amp professionally position state of the art technical solutions in response to RFI P Q`s customer requests or unsolicited proposals including but not limited to HL LL design quotations BoM PoC etc IP Design Authority < li>
  • Through consultative proactive and systematic collaboration with the customer formulate a common vision of customer’s technical needs requirements and goals at senior and operational level < li>
  • Establish customer trust relationships and influence key technical decision makers amp influencers towards a desired solution network evolution < li>
  • Own co ordinate and manage technical deliverables in support of a sales campaigns and or customer visits within the frame of the sales account management activities < li>
  • Advise the NEC sales team amp senior management upon qualifying a new business opportunity from a technical competitive advantage perspective adhering to established internal processes amp procedures < li>
  • Carry out systematic market amp competitor analysis at a technical level and feed the shortfalls and key market requirements to the appropriate product development channels < li>
  • Maintain up to date product portfolio collaterals and technical documentation < li>
  • Facilitate hand over of awarded business to the NEC or third party partner delivery organizations ensuring all technical aspects of the solution are fully covered < li>
  • Support contract negotiations acting as the technical advisor to the commercial and legal teams < li>
  • Attend marketing or partner events < li>

    < ul>Mandatory Technical amp Professional Experience amp Skills
    < u>< strong>
    • Demonstrate strong understanding of the industry drivers and technology trends within the TelCo and Service Provider space < li>
    • Proven experience in consultative technical sales with large mobile operators or service providers < li>
    • Proven strong technical experience within the IP space on routing switching security from capturing requirements through to development and delivery of a solution that meets customer requirements < li>
    • Juniper recognised certifications mainly in the Service Provider side < li>
    • Juniper product knowhow Router Switch Security devices < li>
    • Strong relationship with TelCo and Service Providers in this product segment < li> < ul>
      • Commercial amp Sales acumen < li>
      • Experience in customer engagements customer facing roles at a senior level < li>
      • Demonstrate team player attitude working closely with the sales team and be willing to travel to the customer locations to perform your duties < li>
      • Demonstrated strong interpersonal organisational and analytical skills< li>< ul>
