Collect data on work environments for analysis by Safety Engineers. Conduct daily safety inspection in site activities and prepare required reports. Identify and report on unsafe equipment working conditions and practices. Identify and measure potential safety hazards in the workplace. Perform H S risk assessments for company projects and operations. Review Risk Assessments Lifting operations and permit to work records. Ensure approved safety procedures are followed for Road Safety Work at Height Electrical Safety Chemical Safety Fire Safety and Crane Safety etc. Follow the database of the teams reporting to implement improvement actions. On site awareness sessions as required with Ericsson personnel and suppliers related to the project. Implement safety rules to prevent unsafe environmental working conditions. Tour workplace and conduct safety inspections. Maintain all required records and documentation for the assigned area. Monitor and make sure that PPE and safety equipment’s are available for employees and their use of such equipment to ensure proper use. Test workplaces for environmental hazards such as exposure to radiation chemical and biological hazards and excessive noise. Report the results of safety analyses. Examine credentials licenses or permits to ensure compliance with licensing requirements. Other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements Minimum 2 5 years of experience in similar position At least 2 years in Telecom industry Ericsson HSE experience is preferred. • Bachelor Degree in related fields from a reputable university is required. • ISO 14001 Awareness and OHSAS 18001 Awareness. • Required Certifications Certified OSHA Certified Risk Assessment Certified First Aid and CPR Certified Electricity Safety Certified Fire Fighting Certified Climbing Working at Heights. • Quality Inspector Certification is a Plus. Good in quality control analysis. Ability to monitor and implement Quality Focus process. Ability to implement and detect Health Safety and Environmental Control. Good English communication skills written and verbal. Very Good knowledge of MS Office. For Alexandria projects Alexandria residents are highly preferable.
