Job Summary
< u>< strong>Responsible for full administration duties of deploying configuration maintenance security and backup of Microsoft deployments in a mixed Windows AD Linux environment – Also he will be expected to actively help with administration duties of the Linux segment of the environment and all IT related services including on call duties.
Responsibilities And Duties
< u>< strong>
- Installs configures maintains analyzes and resolves problems associated with the server’s OS hardware and S W.< li>
- Assisting with internal and external support of deployed IT and Web services< li>
- Planning Implementation and monitoring of backups disaster plans and fault tolerance.< li>
- Supports and troubleshoots issues of LAN WAN Intranet Internet servers firewalls and services.< li>
- Deploys maintains and configures IT assets OS desktops servers VPN gateways internet gateways PBX access points etc. < li>
- Administrates users’ accounts by adding deleting modifying accounts email accounts FTP accounts chat accounts Antivirus and handle authentication and authorization on resources.< li>
- Monitors systems performance and ensures compliance with security standards to guard against security breaches and intrusions – also works on improving the availability and efficiency of the infra structure.< li>
< ul>Qualifications
< u>< strong>- 5 years minimum experience as a dedicated Microsoft system administrator in a large scale enterprise environment is a must.< li>
- Preferred to be a graduate of a 4 5 years engineering or computer science degree< li> < ul>
- Certification of one of the 6 9 months MCIT ITI diplomas.< li> < ul>
- Excellent English written and spoken extensive communicating with customers and internal external teams makes this a MUST .< li>
- Excellent PowerShell scripting skills.< li>
- Very good knowledge of Linux systems administration the environment is mixed. If you hate Linux don't apply please .< li>
- Excellent experience in cloud virtualizations and storage technologies and solutions.< li>
- The environment is heavily based on supporting online services websites so knowledge of Apache MySQL Tomcat WebLogic is a huge plus< li>
- Experience in systems security fault tolerance disaster recovery and backup technologies implementations.< li>
- Excellent hardware networking storage administration skills.< li>
< ul>Certifications
< u>< strong>- MTA MCSA Certificate is a must MCSE is preferred.< li>
- Security certification is a huge plus.< li>
- Linux certification is a plus.< li>
- Cisco certification is a plus.< li>
- Any equivalent experience.< li>
