Overview
< u>< strong>Reporting to Logistics Manager the successful Materials Movement Coordinator will be responsible for the administration and supervision of the materials management function including the receipt handling and processing of Base Oil.
Responsibilities
< u>< strong>Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to
Base Oil Shipping and Receiving
< strong>
- Coordinates receiving processing and storage of Base Oil< li>
- Ensures enough tank space before receiving the Base Oil Shipment< li>
- Coordinates with 3rd Party Base Oil Tankage Vendor for safe receiving of Base Oils< li>
- Completes all documentations required for the receiving of Base Oils and to reconcile with the seller< li>
- Facilitates the movement of Base Oil from the tankage to the plant according to the plant’s needs< li>
- Coordinates processing of all goods sent in ensures quality and cost effective courier and trucking services< li>
- Controls handling distribution MSDS processing of Base Oils ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation< li>
- Handles daily scheduling of Base Oil Trucks to ensure receiving all Base Oil local quotas in addition to imported Base Oil shipment without paying demurrage< li>
- Participates in Mid Month and End of Month Physical Count process< li>
- Travels to job sites as needed to audit process in action and identifies areas for improvement for Inventory Control Procedure< li>
- Coordinates with the local Base Oil supplier to avoid any shortage or dry out < li>
- Maintains complete accurate and current documentation of stocks< li>
- Handles the daily documentation with the 3rd party< li>
- Follows up on discrepancies with vendors and assists Logistics Manager to help resolve them< li>
- Monitors Base Oil inventory at all locations and their reconciliation with our records on daily basis < li>
< ul>Base Oil Cargo Receipt Operations
< strong>- Pressure testing of all hoses and pipeline before each cargo receipt< li>
- Arrangement of Labour Contractor for base oil cargo receipt< li>
- Arrangement and coordination with surveyor< li>
- Arrangement of transfer of hoses compressor and other equipment to port< li>
- Ensures the smooth transfer of base oil to tank< li>
- Ensures proper pigging operation after completion of base oil receipt< li>
- Ensures sealing is in place after receiving the shipment < li>
< ul>Imported Products Receipt Operations
< strong>- Supervises the Imported Finished Product Shipments receipt< li>
- Ensures proper processing of documentation in coordination with Lab and Logistics Team< li>
- Reviews COA Batch Number Production Dates and Validation against GPIMS< li>
- Ensuresa Compliance Assurance related laws are having proper control in the Warehouse< li>
- Monitors materials management process effectiveness by conducting regular inspections of warehouse facilities receiving issuing physical counts shipping and investment recovery functions < li>
- Establishes necessary procedures and processes to address materials management requirements< li>
- Implementation of SCM best practices to improve Operational Excellence and contribute to cost Reduction < li>
< ul>Inventory Management amp Reconciliation
< strong>- Responsible for the physical inventories and cycle counts of third party storage facilities< li>
- Accountable for quarterly reviews at each facility to verify materials are properly accounted for and tracked per Company and Sox requirements< li>
- Works with Chevron Operations Groups and consignment vendors to assure consignment inventories are preformed regularly and differences are reconciled Base Oil Tankage and Delivery Agent Warehouse Barge
Required Qualifications
< u>< strong>< li> - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent< li>
- Ideally 4 years of experience in relevant or similar fields< li>
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English< li>
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills< li>
- Very good knowledge and skilled in Microsoft Excel Word office power point < li>
