As a member of the Data Science team at Bayt.com you will play a leading role in designing and implementing data ontologies to fit various use cases and help guide software design for schema inputs and tools. You will also have the opportunity to build and manage a team of data analysts.
We are looking for candidates with exceptional abilities in category flexibility deductive reasoning and information ordering.
Responsibilities
Maintain custody of various data sets and domain values
Design tools for ontology exploration
Systematically enrich data sets with newly added information such as new companies new job titles new skills etc.
Classify data sets under various cross related categories taking into consideration relationships between these data elements and affinity of those relationships
Work extensively on tagging and data cleansing cleaning and de duplication
Work with data statisticians and data scientists on detecting patterns within data sets that can serve the classification process
Maintain the data in a digital format that lends itself for faster discovery and provides dash boarding insight on the data
5 years of experience in managing cleansing tagging organizing and classifying unstructured data Strong creative and efficient research capabilities Deep knowledge of analytical tools in Microsoft Excel Bachelors degree in statistics library science information management computer science or linguistics. Masters or Doctorate degrees preferred. Excellent written and verbal communications Ability to work as part of a team within a larger company Preferably Hands on experience working with various databases including Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL and graph databases such as Neo4j ArangoDB and Orion DB Arabic Speaker
