Responsibilities
< strong>< p> Ensure that quality standards of assigned publications are met including compliance with Mubasher style guide and strong analytical content Check text to ensure it is well written and logically structured and ensure images match the content Correct grammar and spelling Check facts and raise queries with the Managing Editor Submit copy edits on schedule Participate in revising assets and monitoring a team of Editors Translators and Reporters Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements Bachelor’s in Translation 5 years journalism experience at least two years copy editing Ability to copy edit news stories features and other material for content and style quickly and thoroughly under deadline pressure Knowledge of financial and business media world Ability to work effectively with other staff members to develop their journalism skills and strengthen their contributions to the unit's publications Financial reporting is preferred Keywords Editing Copy Editing Writing News Business Financial Analysis Translation Copy Editor
