Minimum Requirements < p>
1. B.Sc Btech in Architectural Engineering
2. Competence in CAD Graphic Design
3. Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design architectural presentations. Experience in construction industry would be a plus.< p>
Duties amp Responsibilities < p>
1. Creating detailed drawings and specifications amp specifying the nature and quality of materials required.
2. Reviewing architectural plans and drawings highlighting any possible risks or problems and making amendments using computer aided design applications CAD .
3. Overseeing and controlling a project from start to finish amp resolving problems and issues that arise during construction.
4. Preparing tender applications and presentations amp negotiating with clients and subcontractors.
5. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts practices and procedures.
6. Performs the Architectural planning of Projects within the approved budget and according to client requirements.
7. Ensure all legal formalities are fulfilled with the project. Follows up with governmental local authorities and liaises with concerned engineers for the implementation of projects
8. Specifying the suitable materials tools and technology to be used in the project and advising deviation from the initial design plan if any required.
9. Liaising with architects surveyors and construction professionals.
10. Surveying sites and identifying environmental impacts.
11. Update all design and construction drawings related to architectural works and follow up on approvals.
12. Reviews and comments on materials’ catalogue related to architectural aspects of projects.
13. Frequently check construction ensure quality safety and constructability aspects are met.
14. Make sure that any non conformity has been reported through a Non Conformance Report NCR reviewed by his line supervisor.
15. Travelling regularly to building sites proposed locations
and client meetings.< p>
